Your songbook in your AI assistant

Connect Kantamigo to Claude or ChatGPT and look after your songs or run a guitar night by asking in plain words. Your assistant works only with your own songbook and your own sessions, and only when you ask.

Things you can ask

  • Add these three songs I pasted and tag them campfire.
  • Which of my songs are in Am and use only chords I know?
  • Transpose “Lanterns on the porch” down two semitones.
  • Export my campfire songs as ChordPro.
  • Start a session called “Friday porch” and queue my five campfire songs.
  • What did we play last Saturday?

Songs added this way count like pasted ones, with the same song limit and the same checks. Your assistant adds the text you give it and should not write lyrics from memory.

How to connect

You need a Kantamigo account and a Claude or ChatGPT plan that lets you add custom connectors. Both use the same address:

Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings › Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector, name it Kantamigo and paste the URL.
  3. Choose Connect, sign in to Kantamigo and allow access.
  4. In a chat, turn Kantamigo on in the tools menu and ask.

ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps and connectors.
  2. Choose Create, name it Kantamigo, paste the URL and set authentication to OAuth.
  3. Sign in to Kantamigo and allow access.
  4. In a chat, add Kantamigo from the + menu and ask.

No Create button? Turn on developer mode in that section's Advanced settings.

Menu names change now and then. If yours look different, look for connectors or apps in your assistant's settings.

When you connect, you choose what to allow: reading your songbook, changing it, running your sessions, or all three.

Read your songbook

  • Finds songs by title, artist, language, tag, key or the chords you know.songbook_search

Change your songbook

  • Adds a song from text you give it.song_create

Your sessions

Session tools work only in sessions you host or play in as a guitarist, with the same rules as the app.

Run a session

  • Creates a session, live now or for later, once you confirm it's a private gathering.session_create
  • Takes a scheduled session live.session_start
  • Ends a session, after asking you.session_end
  • Tells you how a session is going: who's in, which plan it's on and the live time left.session_get

Queue and now playing

  • Reads the queue, titles only.queue_list
  • Queues songs from your songbook.queue_add
  • Moves a song up or down the queue.queue_move

Guests' suggestions

What your assistant sees

  • Only what a request needs, such as your song titles or the text of the song you asked about. Never anyone else's songbook.
  • When you ask about a session, the nicknames of the people in it, as you see them in the app. Nothing else about your guests.
  • Your songs stay private in Kantamigo. Nothing is published and nothing is shared with other users.
  • What your assistant receives is handled by Anthropic or OpenAI under the terms you agreed with them.
  • Disconnect at any time in Settings under Connected apps. The app loses access at once.
