Is my songbook private?

Yes. Only you can see your songs. There are no public song pages, no share links for songs and no profile that shows your songbook. Friends see a song only while you play it in a live session.

Does Kantamigo provide songs or lyrics?

Accepted Answer

No. Kantamigo has no song catalogue and never writes lyrics for you. You bring your own songs: type them, paste them or import one web page you choose, and they stay in your private songbook.

Can I export my songs?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on every plan. In Settings you can download your whole songbook as ChordPro files in one zip, including songs you can no longer play after a downgrade.

Do my friends need the app or an account?

Accepted Answer

No. They scan the QR code or open the link in their phone's browser, pick a nickname and sing along. There is nothing to install and no account to create.

Why are sessions limited to 30 people?

Kantamigo is made for private gatherings with people you know, like a guitar night at home or around a campfire, not for public events. The limit is 30 people besides the host on every plan, and no plan raises it.

What happens when the free 2 hours run out?

Accepted Answer

On the Free plan a host gets 2 hours of live sessions in any 24 hours. Everyone sees a warning 15 minutes before the end. When the time is up, the song you are playing can finish (up to 10 minutes), then the session ends. Before that, anyone in the session can buy a Party Pass to keep going.

Which languages are supported?

The app speaks English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Ukrainian and Chinese (Simplified). Your songs can be in any language, and Kantamigo never translates them.

Can a friend buy the Party Pass?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Anyone in a live session, guests without an account included, can buy a Party Pass from the session menu. It goes to the host for 48 hours, and the buyer can stay anonymous.

How do refunds work?

Guitarist. You get a full refund on request within 14 days of your first payment and within 14 days of each yearly renewal. Monthly renewals are not refunded, but you can cancel at any time and keep the plan until the end of the month you paid for. After a refund your account returns to the Free plan, and 30 songs stay active. Party Pass. At checkout you ask for the pass to start at once by ticking “Start my pass now. I understand I lose my 14-day withdrawal right once it starts.” Once the pass has started, you can no longer withdraw from it. If no session went live during the 48 hours of the pass and none of its extra AI imports were used, we refund it automatically. Ask for a refund on the billing page or write to hello@kantamigo.com. What happens to my songs if I stop paying?

Nothing is deleted. 30 songs stay active, by default the 30 you played most recently, and you can choose which ones. The others stay in your songbook, where you can view, export and delete them, but not edit them or add them to a session.
